Some voices stop you in your tracks. The kind that makes you put down the coffee, turn up the speakers, and just listen. That's exactly what happened the first time we heard Emél.

We're proud to announce that Emél has officially joined the Oysterdale family. This Norwegian-Bosnian artist brings something we deeply believe in: soulfulness, creativity, and that rare ability to lift a room with just her voice.

Truth is, Emél has been part of our story from the beginning. Her debut "Get On Up" — a collaboration with OKPLUS — was one of the first releases on Oysterdale, and what a way to start. The track became a massive hit on Traxsource, earning support from heavyweights like Michael Gray, Dave Lee, Sgt. Slick, Da Lukas, Dr. Packer, N.W.N., Birdee and many more. The Art Of Tones remix has been sitting pretty in the Top 100 Soul/Funk/Disco charts for over 3 months now.

Then came "Don't Hold Me Back" — produced together with MINIJACK — her follow-up that proved the first one wasn't a fluke. That track has now streamed more than 200,000 times and keeps finding new ears every day.

Emél represents exactly why we started Oysterdale. Not just to release records, but to find artists who understand that every track matters. Every record is a pearl.

Stay tuned — we're just getting started.

While You Wait: This Week's Pearls

Here's what's been spinning in our studio:

Block, Delete - Sebastian Emes, Emma Emes
One from the Oysterdale family. A sibling collaboration blending deep house with early Disclosure vibes.

Tango Hustle (Dave Lee Latican Hustle) - Foreal People, Dave Lee ZR
Dave Lee doing what Dave Lee does best. Soooo funky.

I'll Be Gone (Original Mix) - N.W.N.
Finally getting some originals from one of the most active remixers in the Deep House scene. Perfect track for those late-night basement sessions.

Welcome to the family, Emél.
